Florida Fashion

Tomorrow I am taking off to Florida for the weekend to celebrate my work’s 20th anniversary. I work at a public relations agency in downtown Toronto and each year we go on a company retreat. Because this year is an extra special milestone, the entire firm (about 100) is heading to Fort Lauderdale! How gorgeous is the hotel we are staying at?

To celebrate my trip to the “Sunshine State,” I have created this tropical look, perfect for any sun-filled vacations you are planning to take this winter. I’ve paired this yellow neon dress with white high heels, but depending on your destination or mood they could easily be swapped for a stylish pair of flat or wedge sandals.

Don’t you just love this Ted Baker floral clutch?

Navy or Nothing

For as long as I can remember I’ve had a love affair with navy blue. It is my go to colour for work or an evening out, and my apartment is decorated in navy throughout. If there is one colour I would recommend coordinating your wardrobe around it would be navy. Similar to brown shades such as cognac and camel, navy is a great base colour that goes with everything and instantly makes you look classy and chic. What is your go-to colour?

Here are my current navy favourites.
